How to Relax your Mind
- Step 1
Drink something warm and steamy, such as a cup of coffee, hot chocolate, or herbal tea. carefully hold warm cup in hand or sit cup on a table. focus on the steam that flows upward from the cup as you sip your beverage. Doing so can possibly put you in a very trance and relaxed state. From my personal experience, this has been known to work for me.
- Step 2
Take the focus off of the mind, and focus on relaxing the body. Breath in and out slowly, if your mind begins to race from one thought to another tune in to your breathing.
- Step 3
Visualize a positive word in your mind, such as the word "Relax" focus
on this word and what it means to you, doing so can take your thoughts away from what is making you tense. - Step 4
Play soft, light, and relaxing music, and focus on the melody, doing so can also take the mind away from tense thoughts.
- Step 5
Lightly Spray and inhale the scent of lavender, lavender has been known to have a relaxing effect on the body..
i tried it at least i relaxed for a while after a hectic day.. i can say its useful...
